About me

Me, October 2021
I am a PhD researcher for IT Security and Privacy at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) working on evaluating and designing biometric anonymization methods for video.

I first started coding in my school's website project group in 2010, quickly becoming more interested in the field: creating and maintaining a multitude of web applications on various platforms.
Using Linux privately since 2013, I am also used to server administration.

In 2015 and 2016 during 11th grade of school, I was privileged to already visit and complete some computer science lectures at university.
Next to my Bachelor's degree studies at KIT, I acquired some real-world work-experience by administrating linux servers at dmTECH and cloud infrastructure at Siemens Mindsphere.
I also discovered my passion for IT-Security, prompting me to focus my electives in this area.
During my Master's studies I gained experience in teaching by working as a tutor for operating systems and research as a student research assistant for behavioral privacy.
